Example of use

Chilled iron grit is formed by sharply angular particles resulting from crushing of cast iron shots which is made by dispersion of melted metal. Chilled iron grit belongs to the group of metal blasting abrasives. Its manufactured in accordance with Czech quality standart ČSN 429823, similar to DIN 8201 or BS 2451 (EN ISO 11124-2,3).

Example of use

Chilled iron grit is usually used for air blast applications, for removing of old paints, cleaning of castingsand metallurgical materials, for blasting of stone, for cutting of stone. Can be also used as ingredient to the concrete, for increasing of concrete resistance against carbonic and sour water by building foundations, for entertaining pytotechnic (fire-crackers, signal rocket), as addition for special concretes protecting against radioactivity, into heavy and non wiping concretes.

Chilled iron shot cleaning of kettles and coppers, addition for ship weight or weight of fisher´s nets, filler for strong-rooms.
